Dormitory Director’s Welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Dormitory and to share just some of the many benefits of Dormitory life at the Bahrain School.

Our Dormitory is a close-knit community which comprises of over 12 nationalities and a dedicated team of Dormitory staff. Whilst most of our Dorm students’ families reside close by in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, when staying in the Dormitory students rely on Dormitory staff to guide and support them through this period of transition.

The house parents, nurses, administrators, and all Dormitory staff are fully committed to providing a safe, happy and harmonious home away from home ensuring that students make a smooth adjustment to Dorm life and to ensure that the time they spend at the Bahrain School is happy and successful both academically and socially. Students often find that within the Dormitory many life-long friendships are formed. When a student enrolls into the Dormitory, that student is agreeing to become part of the community and to be active in helping to achieve a trusting atmosphere in which all members of the community can thrive.

Boarding teaches lessons for life – independence, tolerance and working as a team – our boarders leave not only with outstanding academic results but with an equally valuable self-confidence and a global perspective which will serve them well in later life.

To the students, I’d like to extend a warm welcome and look forward to your arrival. To the parents, we offer our assurance that we will do our utmost to enrich the lives of, and care for and protect your most precious gifts – your children.

If you have any questions or comments about life in the BISA Dormitory, please do not hesitate to telephone or visit us.
